On behalf of Omran, a state-owned investment group, Aperio Partners was engaged to provide business-planning services for the proposed conversion of the Muscat old commercial port into a large mixed-use tourism waterfront development, i.e. Mina al Sultan Qaboos Project.

The project, one of the largest of its kind internationally, benefits from a strategic location and is set to include several hotels, marina, cruise terminal, residential component, large shopping centre and a wide range of ancillary and recreational facilities. 

Services delivered by Aperio included a market study, projection concept and vision, financial business plan and appraisal, and assistance to coordinate the initial steps of masterplan preparation for the first development stage.
